Went a couple of weeks ago and had one of the specials (lamb lobby) which was delicious, so much so I decided to have it again this week. I wish they had served it in the same deep pottery bowl which retained the heat but instead they served it in a steel curry dish which went cold so quickly and there didn't seem as much. It went from a 5/5 first time to a 3/5 the second time. Food is delicious but just as a bit of friendly feedback, Lobby needs a bowl not a curry dish. Will still be back though.
We looked for a pub between us for a pre Xmas meal with friends and we were glad to have chosen The New Broom. The team were friendly and took the time to have a chat and a laugh with us, making sure we were OK through our visit. We all ordered something different, Steak and ale pie, Gammon, Fish and chips and Lasagne, all meals were fantastic, chips were amazing! We thought it couldn't be beaten but the desserts finished us off 😄 the waffles and cheesecake were great. We will certainly be back for another meal soon 👍
Lovely public house with a large variety of beers and spirits. I was there with family for a Sunday lunch Carvery and it was beyond expectation. Large selection of meats and vegetables, meat is carved onto your plate and then you help yourself to whatever vegetables you desire.. Staff and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Shame that the Carvery is only on Sunday lunchtime but absolutely well worth every penny and not expensive. Great value for money and I will definitely recommend it. Will return later in the year.. Deserts was to die for, excellent quality thank you very much.
Lovely welcoming atmosphere! Food is absolutely gorgeous and very generous portions! Eaten from both the menu and the carvery on a Sunday! Always a lovely experience so i can highly recommend
We received a lovely friendly welcome today when we popped in on our way through. The team here were very welcoming to us & other visitors We only ordered hit drinks but the menu sounded really good. Drinks were brought to our table & the coffee was excellent
