I was needing to meet a friend in this location, and I wanted a pub that did good food and had parking and this fitted the bill. I was impressed with the lovely views from the windows . The staff are friendly and accommodating as we got there prior to food being served and drinks were served immediately. I had grilled steak in a ciabatta with chips and a salad garnish. I really enjoyed it. The steak melted in your mouth. My friend had the soup which looked delicious and was delicious. It was served with two types of bread rolls and with three pats of butter. Usually at other places I have to ask for extra butter, but this was sufficient. Very reasonably priced. Would come again and will as I’m in the area once a week
Great pub with plenty of space for large groups. We had Sunday lunch with 10 of us. The service was friendly and efficient. The food plentiful and tasty. The garden burger (vegetarian) was different from the usual with lots of different vegetables used. We had huge helpings of beef in the Sunday roast which satisfied the huge appetites of our teenage grandsons! Relaxed atmosphere where we could eat and chat in comfort.
We've been there a couple of times and the food has been really good... We go to really good, ( pricey ), good and awful eateries ( awful by accident) but today I had the steak & ale pie and I can honestly say the pastry on that pie was was fantastic. Great proper British fare with great views and smashing beer. ... Go there, you know it makes sense 😋
Loved this pub. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Staff really friendly and efficient. I'd suggest booking if you want a table with a sea view. Dress is casual and it's equally nice to just have a drink as comfortable and relaxed. Nice terrace with lovely views of the sea.
Beautiful inn with lovely views available from the restaurant. We found the food to be delicious with very ample servings. Service was great, very friendly approachable staff. Nice bar area to relax after meal and pool table available as well . No complaints at all. Easy walk for us from Lady’s Mile Holiday Park but plenty of parking if need. Would suggest you book.. very popular. Not cheap but felt price was reasonable for the experience. Highly recommend
