Came for Sunday lunch and got a warm welcome from the publican. All the staff were really helpful and pleasant. The meal itself was delicious, and when we explained that my husband follows a gluten free diet, everything from Yorkshire pudding to gravy was GF. Roast potatoes were crisp, and the beef and veg were locally sourced and freshly cooked. Superb. Although we we went for the traditional roast option, I was tempted by other items on the menu. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Recommended.

We popped in while on a weekend away, and we got the dining room, to ourselves. It felt like a private dining experience. The food was amazing and wine chilled to perfection. The manager was super friendly and accommodating.

We visited on a Tuesday lunch time and were able to choose anything off the menu even though it was a quiet time. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We all chose a different selection and the food was delicious and plentiful. There is a good selection of beer and wines. The pub itself is a beautiful old coaching house type of place with bags of room and spotlessly clean. It is also dog friendly. We will definitely be revisiting.

My sister and I met up here today for lunch. Was greeted warmly and we sat outside in the sun. Lunch was delicious with lots of choice and a really good price point and a decent serving. Even the side salad was super tasty. Will defo be back. Thank you and sorry we hogged the table for so long from all our chatting! X

We went for a family meal with my 100 year old aunt. The server was patient and kind and the food was very tasty. We were the only people in the room but the lovely decorations helped us to feel at home.
