Situated in the very heart of Soho, Mimi’s puts you right on the doorstep of the best London has to offer. A brand new construction, which boasts historic façades, Mimi’s offers high end and luxury finishes all within a style that’s chic and opulent;
Rooms are set in seven categories ranging from “tiny” “mini” ‘’cosy’’ and ‘’lux’’. Each room offers an impeccable stylish decor with luxurious finishes and materials.
The Henson’s bar on the ground floor features a fireplace, reclaimed oak flooring, and bespoke furniture, creating a bohemian chic ambiance. In the morning the bar is a cosy breakfast and meeting spot, which offers an extensive selection of teas and coffees. In the evening, the bar transforms into a vibrant cocktail bar that features a wide and creative drinks menu that is deliciously decadent, all contributing to the hotel’s unique boudoir-like atmosphere.
Stayed overnight in a luxury room (due to reading reviews of the windowless rooms being too hot so we wanted a larger room with a window). At first glance, the hotel is lovely and in a great location. The staff however are very rude and for this reason we will not return. Also having to pay £10 to leave a small suitcase behind reception for 4 hours after checkout is ridiculous and desperate. We returned from the theatre around 11:30 and wanted to purchase a drink from the hotel bar to take to the room, we were however told no due to the bar being run by a separate company so it was ‘closed’, even when we asked if we could purchase a soft drink as there wasn’t enough water provided in the room upon check in. If you want a nice experience when checking in and out of a hotel, do not stay here.
Very small and noise windowless single rooms in the -1 floor. The bar is nice though for working/chilling with nice music during the day and with drinks at night. The area is very lively and with my restaurants and pubs.
Very good location, and the rooms are super small but comfortable. You should be very careful with the pick pockets if you stay at this hotel. They stole my boyfriend’s phone when we were having a drink in the lobby. A similar incident occurred 2 nights after with another couple. A man walked into the bar and attempted to steal from them. We saw everything and the staff didn't do anything. We asked for the video record to send to the police, and they did not provide, which made us think the hotel has some connection with this pick pocket gang. (the pick pocket stole inside the hotel !!!) BE CAREFULL !!!! If someone gets close to you asking for money, do not allow them to get close to you. They pretend to have some mental issue, or pretend to be unable to speak. They hold a piece of paper asking for money, and when you are reading the paper they snatch your phone or your wallet. Never leave your phone on the tables, that makes even easier for them.
Great hotel, right in the heart of London. The staff is very attentive and kind. Everything is very clean. If you're looking for a cute hotel with an incredible location to explore London, then don't hesitate and book Mimi’s Hotel Soho.
We had a brief stay in London and I wanted to be able to walk from the train to the hotel and to just explore Soho. It was the perfect location to do this. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. The room was nice but remarkably small! It served our purposes and was not a huge deal for a quick overnight. If you plan to stay longer than a night, I’d inquire about larger room options.
