Rundown, but being renovated to a new golf club and resort. A five star hotel, with spaces built for high class events coming up soon. Good location, green and lush and a beautiful place to relax.
I would not recommend anyone to hire this venue. My self and my guest where not happy with the service the waiters could not speak or understand a word of English, Hindi, Punjabi or Gujarati the glasses were dirty had marks of lipstick the chair covers had holes and where worn they had run out of some food though we paid for 20 extra guest soft drinks were running out on the tables and we had to keep asking 3 or 4 times before someone would bring the drinks to the table and there's so much more.
DO NOT HIRE THIS HALL. Awful place. The toilets have no lighting, and probably has only been cleaned once. The food arrived late, at 10pm when the hall has to be let at 11pm. There's a wedding next door and i have a feeling we were being served left overs from the wedding. The hall is dilapidated and has cobwebs everywhere.
Two large car parks. Close to the A40, so easy to reach. The venue is in a secluded place, hence it is unlikely to cause noise problems for neighbours. The building lacks investment. Although it appears better than it was a few years ago, it still doesn't look attractive from the outside, and neither does it look that great on the inside. I attended a birthday party there in July 2018. It was a very warm day, but inside it was nice and cool--a good air conditioning system. The floor of the male toilet was wet and all the cubicles were dirty/untidy. The glasses in which drinks were served were dirty. It's a great pity that they don't seem to put enough stress on improving these things.
