Love visiting this little place!! Visit about once a month when I can (I live outside of Southport) but always bob in when I'm in town. Very dog friendly, first time I managed to get a seat in the snug this time! Only round the corner from the train station, tucked away in a side street. Cosy and atmospheric, always end up having a good chat with someone!

Southport's hidden gem is a chocolate box pub of wooden panelling, snug with open fire and a cosy atmosphere just a stone's throw from Lord Street. There are Robinson's real ales and the Legendary brew of Old Tom to be quaffed. It's easy to walk pass by and miss as it's tucked away on a side street but stumble on it by accident and it's like stepping into a classic pub of old. Don't miss it!

This is a small and cozy place. Lovely atmosphere and really nice staff. Always puts me in great spirits 🙌 Premises are very inviting and looks so well from outside. Very well maintained and looked after. Recommended, definitely 👌 if you're a local or visiting lovely Southport x

Saught this place out as I'd visited a couple of years ago. It was every bit as great as I remember it. Friendly staff, both landlord and landlady were also in and welcoming. Period pub and unspoilt. Roaring fire, much needed after windswept walk on the beach. Plum Porter on, which suited me just fine. Had a few others on draught..two of them Robbie's on this occasion Most of all, dog friendly and Ellie got two treats so paws up from her too.

What a lovely little pub, just like pubs used to be. So warm & cozy, with a raging real log fire & a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Personally I'm not a Robinsons fan, but luckily they do have few guests beers on tap. My wife had the Titanic plum porter, I had a Neck Oil (on keg) both of which were excellent. I am unsure as to whether food is usually sold here or not, but on the evening of our visit the pub offered a cheese board, which I might add looked very nice. Recommended
