Had dinner here on Monday evening. Lovely warm welcome and shown to an ideal table , as one guest is a wheelchair user. Served by Heather who was attentive, pleasant and happy to assist with questions about the Menu. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was great, especially as there was a huge Birthday celebration in………..which had no impact at all on our wait for food. Well done kitchen staff! Would highly recommend a visit………. We will definitely be back😊
The food was average, had pate as the starter, so so. Turkey for mains, better. Cheese board for dessert, I asked for a glass of Port, waitress asked what's that, came back no Port. The menu said 5 cheeses only had four. No atmosphere, but the staff did try. Very disappointing.
Met friends here for a meal .. very strange access to get into the place from Marsh Mills roundabout .. if you are in the wrong lane, it's so easy to miss, so be very careful. The service was great, we had a really helpful and friendly server. The food was good, with decent portion sizes for most of us as long as you like chips! There was one fish option, which wasn't available when we were there and a limited amount of vegetarian dishes. The desserts weren't too exciting. There were a couple sundaes at £6.99 each, flavoured ice cream, brownie etc. I noticed that standard single soft drinks were £3+ but you could get an alcohol free mocktail for £2.90, so that could be an option if you fancy something a bit different and the desserts don't pique your interest.
It was my first visit to Beefeater in Plymouth and I was quite impressed with the food. All of us ordered from the three course menu and the food was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are huge, so we were naturally so stuffed. Desserts were amazing - The sticky toffee pudding and the Brownie was mouthwatering. Although I would advise not to buy any cocktails from here. We ordered a Long Island iced tea and a Negroni and they tasted absolutely disgusting 🤮 Staff were okay, but not very friendly. It wasn’t a bad experience although I would recommend not getting any cocktails to avoid any disappointment.
