Ordered meat lasagne and the strozzapreti with chicken and mushroom in a creamy sauce plus a Coke. With 10% service charge, it came to £27.50. Nothing special about the food and the lasagne had a lot of pasta sheets with little meat or anything in between. It was a Saturday night and two waitresses were not enough as it got busier. The younger one loudly scoffed at a tap water order. Pretty rude. We asked the same waitress for a dessert menu later on which she forgot about so we decided to skip that and ask her for the bill and shockingly... she forgot that too. I'm assuming the guy checking up on every table, except for ours, was Marco. He avoided us like the plague. So weird. The restaurant was generally filled with an older crowd and I would not recommend. If you want decent Italian food with friendly service, head to Nonnas Kitchen in Hoddesdon.

Fantastic food and service from the entire staff. Due to the Government's 'eat out to help out' initiative the place was very busy. But this didn't result in any form of extra long waiting times. I had the King Prawn Starter followed by the Calves Liver with Pancetta. Portions were very generous. Profiteroles for desert finished off this excellent meal. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

We decided on an impromptu dinner yesterday and liked the look of this restaurant online. We called and luckily they had tables available. There was free parking onsite and we just had to enter our number plate once inside. The feel of the restaurant was lovely and we had a really nice evening. There was social distancing between each table and I felt comfortable. The service was great but this is what you would expect if you are being waited on my the owner! It has a beautiful view of the river and the hanging baskets outside are a nice touch. We received complimentary olives for starters and Biscotti’s with our coffee which we enjoyed. Its not a small menu, but the majority of the mains are fish dishes – I would like to see a few more meat dishes. For starters we both had calamari and whitebait – it wasn’t amazing but was a decent starter, despite needed some slight seasoning. Mains were much better and portion sizes overall are generous. Crab linguine was the best we’ve eaten and you can see and taste that the pizza was cooked in a traditional pizza oven. It was delicious. The chicken breast in mushroom sauce was slightly overcooked and browned but i enjoyed eating it and that was what I fancied. Courgette fries are done al dente which my partner really enjoyed. All glasses and cutlery was clean and the wine cooler kept the wine extra chilled. The cutlery was put down straight on to the table whereas I would have expected it to be put on a napkin. The menus seemed slightly battered and old so would like to see these changed and we had a slight issue with mosquitos towards the end of the night so might be a good idea to have candles put out in the evening. The only slight downside for me would be the two tables we sat in between were smoking. I do not smoke and do not enjoy the smell of it while im eating. I feel there should be a designated area at the front should someone want to smoke. Overall, nice find and we will be visiting again.

Classic Candidate for a Gordon Ramsey overhaul. I wasn't sure if I was going to give a review as it can't be that positive and the staff was really nice. Basically we spent £40 (just food for two people) and received at best mediocre food - despite the good reviews on Google. A slice of pre- made bland lasagna swimming in a plate of (we're guessing Heinz) tomato sauce... Is everyone actually aware of what is going on here? I'll not even mention the bread basket... Not what we were saving our money for & won't come again. The fries are nice & in a generous portion.
