We went to the Manor Bar to celebrate our daughter and son-in-law wedding, we had a lovely time and the staff were great

Small bar in a quieter side of Sunderland. Good vibe. Friendly service. They don’t have a mocktail menu which could come in handy for non-alcoholics.

Nice city centre bar, friendly staff. Often quiet, a good place for a relaxing chilled drink. Update 22.04.2023 Took refuge from the rain attracted by the local food festival, a small happy private party occupied one part of the pub. Ever friendly staff team made us feel welcome, the manager even remembered my drink preference despite the fact I had maybe been in once in 6 months. We really need to visit more often, it is a splendid refuge, with a good-sized outside area overlooking the attractive Sunnyside gardens.

Great atmosphere really nice decor. It was very quite but it was early on a Friday I am sure it is hopping later on. The chap behind the bar was super polite and obliging. Well worth a visit
