Lovely place with character. A bit too old and rusty smelling for me but to others they may find more appealing! Got served a lemonade with a little dead fly in it lol but the food was amazing and staff were very friendly. Honey butter squid was delicious!
I had my son’s birthday party in their hall upstairs. It was so nice and cozy. The staff were amazing! The food were really nice! The manager came to check on us from time to time which I thought was wonderful! They really took good care of us. I’m really happy that we went there. I would definitely go there again.
We came in to have a bite to eat and a drink on a family birthday, the staff (as always) were super friendly, attentive and really made us feel welcome. We got lots of wings as it was ‘wing Wednesday’, they weren’t ’all that’ to be honest, I think all flavours could have done with a bit more seasoning as they could have been described as slightly bland, we got some fries which were lovely and we had to get more as the children enjoyed them so much. We will come back to try some other items on the menu as they look like they have a lovely selection.
Lovely pub, outdoor area is really nice to sit out on a sunny day and having the river there also! Food was really nice, no complaints, only thing that was a shame the sandwiches are not served over the weekend but apart from that, food was lovely and would eat there again
A hidden gem, just off the Sunbury gardens, the best time to visit is on a hot sunny day. Remember to book at busier times. Love to eat and watch the boats sail by
