The Bar room is separate from the lounge allocated at the front of the building with a separate newly designed seating front garden area to enjoy the sunshine. The bar also has a wide range of real ales, pool table, darts board and three TV screens showing all the latest sporting action from SKY Sports.

The luck penny has some amazing staff that are amazing! The pub its self is family friendly, has live Dj's every Saturdays 7-11 Amazing deals on drinks. All that's needed is for the locals to support the landlady and staff #staylocal #drinklocal

Quite possibly one of the best pies i have had in a very long time - Good solid pub grub, couldn't go wrong for the price. Beer good and good atmosphere. Bouncy castle for the kids as well.
Food 100% home cooked which was a refreshing change. It was Reasonably priced alcohol wise although if you go for a pint of Hop house 13 it's a bit pricey at £4.60 which you'd expect to pay in the town centre not in a reinvented working men's pub situated in a residential area. Food is mainly based on pub classics and not too badly priced either. It didn't seem very busy but it's a good place to take your dog as there is an enclosed beer garden, and you can have them in the bar also, just not the main eating area. The staff are very friendly and helpful also .
Popped in for a quick bite after a shopping trip in town and was not disappointed . Freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices. Polite And attentive service food was tasty and sure hit the spot. The bright and clean dinning room was quiet but it was a mid week afternoon and for an estate pub with the bar separate from the dinning area it is understandable. Will call again.
