Walked down the street. Lights on Doors open Looking through windows on way to the door, barmaid sinking back a drink with the customers Section 114 of the Scottish licensing act 2005 make this a crime Walks in. “Sorry, I’m about to call last orders” So, instead of taking my business. They focus on their own night out….. Lousy
Relaxing atmosphere and decent beer
Nice old pub. Off the beaten track. I had Leith Juice, the local brew from the Campervan brewery. Dog friendly. Love music on a Saturday night was advertised. Renamed from "The Lord Nelson" after being shut down for Covid. This is still the name that appeared on my banking app.
Visited on a weekday evening, very cosy and nice atmosphere, you can either watch the football or sit at the window and enjoy a beer in a quiet company. Haven't visited on a Saturday when they have live music but looking forward to it.
Nice little pub tucked away in Leith, surprised it was so quiet on a Saturday afternoon and the barmaid told us the place has only been open for 6 weeks. Live music on saturday evenings, pub quiz on Sundays. I had to get a pint of the Lucky Spence on tap, a very nice pint it was too.
