Our first visit to The Lord since being under new management, and it was lovely to see a return to fantastic food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Connor who was so charming, and compliments to the chefs Ben and Tom for the amazing food - we didn’t leave a crumb it was so tasty. It’s also fantastic that the new management have kept and expanded on the gluten free options (about 90% of the menus is gluten free). Overall a great experience and it’s lovely to see The Lord back as it should be.
Fabulous meal this evening. Fish & Chips - best batter ever !!! Normally peel it away & leave but not tonight 👌 Duck Massaman with rice such a tasty dish perfect size portion Overall value for money
Another good meal at the LC. Two of us had the rump steak offer and one had the vegan burger meal. All delicious and great value. Very friendly staff. Whist we did have a bit of a wait for our meal, it didnt bother us and we fully enjoyed our evening. Delighted the LC is open again.
This place went above and beyond helping my family get seated and fed. Great service and every member of staff was very welcoming and helpful. The menu was great with classic pub food done to a high standard, every effort and option was available for our vegan, lactose intolerant family members. Children's food came out first which is a rare and pleasant treat for the adults (parents will understand that is a great help). Fully recommend this place for families or a nice evening out. Try the Fish'n'chips 😍
Spot on with the Covid 19 restrictions, feel very safe. Always a very warm welcome, staff very friendly nothing is to much trouble for them. Food is delicious and reasonably price smaller portions is always an option and its gluten free. It's dog friendly in the bar of which the staff will make them welcome as well. The owners and their staff are doing an excellent service at TLC 5 stars
