Absolutely one of my favourite pubs! Lots of parking, space and huge beer garden! The staff are always very friendly and accommodating! Not to forget, they are super dog friendly - biscuits and water bowls given and lots of cuddles. 😅 Thanks to the team at Preston for such an awesome pub!!! ❤️ I'll be back for sure again soooon!
Tasty food served in a crowded setting by friendly staff. Toilets need to be kept clean & smelling fresh. Parking is available. The tables need to be cleared & cleaned up soon after customers use. 24.11.22 Tasty steak served by friendly staff in clean environment. 11.1.23 Tasty burger 🍔 .Toilets need to be kept clean & fresh with the hand dryers working! & staff meetings where four letters words are are repeatedly used by female members of staff should be held more privately to avoid giving customers the wrong idea! 2.3.23 Tables need to be cleared up & cleaned for the next customer. 15.3.23 Tasty fish & chips 🍟 on a deal & toilets smelling fresh with phones not working! Customers need to register their vehicles to avoid a Parking Fine! 17.8.23 Tasty fish 🐟 & chips with generally friendly & helpful staff. 22.9.23 Busy pub with blocked toilets 🚻 & floating faeces which could spill over on the floor & create a messy feeling especially after a meal! 29.11.23 Tasty food served in clean surroundings. However the heating is not effective with customers feeling cold . The toilets need cleaning & freshening up! 10.1.24 Tasty steak served by friendly & helpful staff in a clean environment.
We came here for a Christmas meal and booked weeks in advance, giving a deposit. On the day they were out of stock of the only vegan/vegetarian option from the Christmas menu (a Wellington) and they asked if we booked meals beforehand. We were not asked to reserve dishes on the 2 times we called them (for the Christmas Menu booking) and have not ever had this problem at other venues. In replacement, 2 of us ordered the pasta (awful, taste like bland pasta + ketchup, no seasonings, edible at best) and 1 ordered the vegan burger (this was okay, small with no frills). The plantbased skewers were tasty though! There was also only one vegan Biscoff cheesecake left, which we shared. And they gave vegan ice cream. We ordered mulled wine, which was nice but had a strange sour aftertaste (vs others we've tried). The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and fireplaces, for that cosy feeling.
Visited the Preston for Sunday roast, wasn't too keen on the vegan Wellington the rest of the food was lovely. The dessert was delicious! I had Apple crumble pie and custard.
Fantastic experience. The food was great and the service even better. There are interesting board games and our server Dre was friendly, very helpful and courteous. We had some issues downloading and using the app to order but it was sorted out. Even though it was our first time, I'm certain we will be definitely coming back Would recommend the coconut rum drink, it was lovely.
