The noise levels are absolutely appalling! It is well beyond the harmful thresholds to the ear. It is so loud that staff cannot hear what the customers order and it is impossible to pass next to the band to reach the toilet. The whole building is literally shaking of the noise. Can the owner go for some sense to his head and research what are the healthy sound levels so his staff and customers save their hearing?

Poor bar service. Crack heads coming in and out of the pub selling knocked off goods. Wipe your feet on the way out!

We have a pint in the queen's about 4 times a year when are going to Upton park station to get to Stratford for west ham games. Pub is fairly quiet early afternoon. Bar staff are friendly. Basic pub , easy to relax with a pint and have a chat .

🚇 Upton Park 🍺 £4.50 Heineken ❤️ A unique no frills locals pub. . The Queens pub is located on Green Street in Upton Park which is on the border between East Ham and West Ham. Adjacent to the pub is bustling Queens Market, the home of the “£1 Fish man”. Getting here is easy, Upton Park Tube is literally next door. . More pubs have closed in Newham in the last 20 years than in any other borough in London. Since West Ham moved to The London Stadium in 2016 a further eight pubs have closed leaving the borough with around 50 pubs which is a travesty of biblical proportions. Thankfully The Queens survives to today. . The architecture of this pub is unique and is unlike any other pub in London. This a large two room pub which are joined by a narrow section at the bar. The decor here is classic estate pub with a long bar stretching the length of the pub. There are a couple of pool tables and TV’s showing live sport, there is also a dartboard if you fancy a game of arrows. . The beer line up here is simple and is full of familiar brands, I opted for a Heineken which was a decent pint and came in at a welcoming £4.50. The pub doesn’t do food but there are plenty of crisps and nuts. . I walked in here just after midday on a Friday, the pub was quiet with just me and a couple of other lads in attendance. I was served by Pam who was welcoming and personable, Pam has worked at this pub for years and knows the manor very well. . The Queens is proper down to earth locals pub that has managing to survive in unprecedented conditions. I loved my visit here as it reminded me of pubs I grew up in the 70’s & 80’s. It seems strange saying this but this is a heritage pub and original in many ways. This pub has to go on your must visit list for 2023. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 18/11/22

Tis what it is. Basic, unpretentious east London pub. Keg beers available but no cask that I can see. Good friendly bunch having a beer or two. Great lass behind the bar. All good fun.
