This beautifully ornate pub in Paddington station is perfect for commuters, or any traveller, with food served from 8am every morning. A great place to get away from the more busy parts of the station.
Inside the traditional pub there is a departure board, so you can keep an eye on your train. Also having recently been awarded Champion at the Master Cellarman of the Year Awards in 2014, you are guaranteed a perfect pint here! Upper areas of the pub are available for private hire so meetings and social events can be held, get in touch to organise these.
Stopped here on arrival to london. I wanted somewhere close just getting off the train. This was ideal as its in paddington station. I ordered the avacado toast with feta, kale and tomato on a slice of sourdough and it was delicious. Latte was also very niceđ Prices not to bad for location
This is really an interesting hidden gem inside the London Paddington. Amazing draft beer and vegan friendly restaurant. Perfect place to relax while waiting for the train. Ask them for todayâs beer on tap. The vegan menu doesnât have many options. They accept cash and card.
This is a hidden gem upstairs of Paddington station. The staff are so lovely and the place is really spacious with the traditional feel of an English pub. They serve my favourite Japanese Asahi beer on tap! Which is the highlight for me âşď¸ Today we had the Smoked Salmon with watercress and brown bread. And the Fish Finger Sandwich with chips. Everything was SO good. The chips were crispy and buttery, the smoked salmon was super soft and delicious. I will definitely come here again and again for food or drinks . Please check it out if youâre at Paddington station area. Just find the shopping corner where youâll see Boots, Accessorize etc and itâs upstairs from there.
Very good pub above the concourse of Paddington Station. Five cask beers on handpump when I last visited. Lots of outdoor seating all of it covered. There is a train arrival and departure board in the bar. The pub got its name from the fact the land around Paddington Station used to belong to the Abbey of Westminster - but was sold to the railways rather cheaply by a somewhat âmadâ Bishop! With the addition of the most famous resident of Paddington.
Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and polite staff from this pub within Paddington station (on the 2nd floor). We had a late brunch and the meal was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. The coffee was also a good quality. Order arrived in a timely manner. Though if you are not in a rush for a train I would recommend to others this place; great value for the location.
