Following a change of ownership in 2014 the Anchor is now run by a local family and has reverted to its previous name, having been known as the Bridge House for a while
There is karaoke every Friday and either live music or discos on Saturdays. There are also occasional events such as ladies' nights or themed fancy dress. Family days and free barbecues are held in the pub garden on Sundays in summer. Pool is also available at only 50p a game and there is also now a dartboard. There are a number of non bottle conditioned beers in addition to draught Guinness and and a range of lagers.

Popped in yesterday while out walking, real nice little local pub, guy behind the bar was friendly as were the other customers. And one of the cheapest pints in London. Will be back for sure.

No other pub like this one! Always a good laugh, and feel welcomed and safe. Although, a bit dangerous because I can't seem to keep away, hope my liver is okay 😅
Coca-Cola was a cheaper alternative that was sold under the ruse of the well-known main brand. And they were selling fosters out of the carling pump. And there regulars were served before I was even though I was patiently waiting.Very dissatisfied with service. I was made to feel unwanted
A very nice pub with warm locals. Seems like a great place for the local regulars to hang out and drink with majority of people within already on a first name basis and welcoming new faces to the conversation or establishment. The price of drinks shocked me for being so affordable, and the decor is quite homely and settling.

A friendly local pub fairly close to Lewisham railway station. Inside the interior is has fairly extensive pine cladding with pool, darts and sports TV available. Outside there is a large garden to the rear. Fuller's London Pride is the single well kept r
