About us

Just a stones throw away from the Royal Albert Hall, tucked away on the famous Queen's Gate Mews, The Queen's arms may be out of sight but it's certainly not out of mind. It's one of those rare hidden gems you stumble upon and keep going back to- for the friendly atmosphere, the quality pub food, and royally good drinks list, including a selection of superbly kept real ales.

We like to think The Queen's Arms is much more than just a blimmin' great place to eat and drink in Kensington. It's a relaxing retreat for all, offering an almost encyclopaedic range of world beers, wines and spirits alongside fresh, seasonal pub food dishes, and a good helping of our own inimitable charm.

Looking for a good pub that's close to Gloucester Road, Hyde Park or Queens Gate? Here we are! The Queen's Arms is also near the Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum, making us ideal for a spot of lunch or dinner while out seeing the sights in Kensington.

The food is fantastic and great cocktails selection. The venue is not so big and this is probably the closest pub from Royal Albert Hall, therefore if some event is held at the hall, it will be very crowded.

The Queen's Arms, a mews pub just off Queens Gate Kensington is a gorgeous place offering a fine selection of both cask and keg beers along with many other offerings to keep all the drinkers happy. A delightful setting for a watering hole and a place with a great atmosphere. Thank you to the staff for both the welcome and the great service. A great place to drop in for a drink and a smile!

Typical British pub. We got some lunch and beer. They have around 10 types of beers on tap. From food we got fish and chips, burger, salad and chicken half. Everything was good. Fish and chips were pretty tasty too. Slightly overpriced for my taste and quality, but not critical. In general, I recommend the place.

Brilliant roast dinners before going to a Royal Albert Hall concert . Very busy so we were pleased we had booked a table . Vrshal and other staff were helpful, friendly , cheerful and made sure all customers were served promptly. A great Sunday roast dinner - recommend to all .

Sunday lunch! Delicious. Started with the sourdough bread, so fresh and perfect. Enjoyed the Sunday Roast and the Fried haddock. Highlight was the minted Peas. Enjoyed the new Ginger sponge cake with bourbon Ice-cream for dessert. Amazing service. Hot food. Highly recommend!
