We needed somewhere for pre drinks and food before an event at the o2 Islington. Found a fabulous table between the bar and kitchen. Very comfortable on the high benches. When we arrived, there was one lady running the bar and Alfie running the floor. They had it all running like clockwork. We were served by Alfie for food and drinks order. Very charming young man. The drinks arrived. Stunning. For the food we went with Alfie’s recommendation of the Meat Platter. Ohhh wow. It was amazing. Packed full of flavour. Thank you chef Dhru. The atmosphere was perfect, nice and relaxed. We said we would come back if in London again for sure. Had my first Limoncello Spritz here, new go to for sure. Honestly, such a great place, all made perfect by the staff. Plus Alfie helped me out with a hair malfunction so even more stars. Thank you all
I popped in unannounced for a late lunch as I explored London during my trip from Australia. The place was warm, in lighting and atmosphere as well as comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had the breaded halloumi sticks and the harissa-spiced aubergine with coconut yogurt and pita bread. It was all amazing!
A great place, Junction, Angel used to be the local Wetherspoon's, breathing a new vibe into the place ( no disrespect to the previous incumbent). This is a busy, in your face place, looking very good. Lots of laughing, loads of meals running out, a great place! Well done off the starting blocks team! Well done!!
Went for a Sunday roast. The food was great, portion sizes were big and the price was good (£30/ person with an alcoholic drink). The pub interior was spacious, newly renovated and clean. The waiters were very friendly too!
Used to be a Wetherspoons, what an upgrade this was! It's absolutely gorgeous inside and the food is to die for, even just a side of chips and we were in shock just how much of a difference proper ingredients and quality can be. Probably the cleanest and freshest pint of Madri and Neck Oil I've ever had in my life and when served at a very competitive price and with a smile and bantery bartenders you couldn't really asked for much more. My new local after a move and a definite must visit 🙌
