A real gem. This is a properly authentic pub that serves the local community, unlike far too many in London. Prices aren't bad either
The greatest pub in Hackney. Quite possibly all of London. Superb staff, the rarity of a pool table and cracking music. There’s nothing to dislike apart from the fact that it closes.
Great atmosphere -- feels like a proper local pub, not contrived. Super setup for watching games -- big screens, good sound. And they have Taytos, so that's awesome.
Went in to watch a Liverpool game, met Tim (fellow LFC) and Levy, good local lads. Cheap beer for London and a sound pub, will be going next time I'm down too.
Traditional average type of community pub, located in a nice area. Nothing really outstandly special to say about the place though, but pleasent. Unfortunately this type of pub is becoming a rarity, which is sad. There were outdoor shelters with seating which is good when the weather is fine. This was very popular on the night. It was a clean and relatively tidy pub. My reason for going there was my mate was doing a Karaoke night there, which was good fun!
