LOCKHOUSE is a new relaxed, casual dining venue based in Paddington Basin.
Serving an authentic mix of classic and award-winning burgers, including the signature Locked & Loaded and the sriracha’d up Hot House, Lockhouse is an all-day hangout with a menu that effortlessly fuses grab and go dining with informal and relaxed, speedy table service.
All this plus an enviable selection of the best craft beers – draught and bottled, with weekly specials and up to 20 international craft beers on tap, a well-crafted cocktail menu and a simple, one price fits all range of premium wines.
I met my daughter and her girlfriend there last Saturday. I did some reading before they arrived for some time and wasn't made to feel I was in the way. My daughter was really impressed with the place and I loved it too. They had burgers and I had the mushroom and spinach wellington. We had room for dessert the ice cream was good. They shared a brownie. I'll definitely go back. I loved the furniture and high ceilings. My daughter said how swanky it looked online! So it was a hit all round!
Went on a Saturday brunch. Food was ok, nothing special or out of the ordinary. Service? Not really existing. There was basically only one member of staff for the entire place when we were there, so you couldn’t expect anything really. Slow and not on point. Asked for some tap water for the table and I was pointed at a self service station. Asked for a dairy free cappuccino and there was no option available. Dog friendly.
I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the chicken pie at the Lockhouse. We had the pie with a couple of gin & tonics, the staff is absolute amazing - Lauren was extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. I would like to come back here again and again.
Lovely afternoon lunch with a group of friends - fantastic location and Julieanne was attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food hot and tasty and with a wide range of choice.
I believed there is some error on my previous reviews. It should be a 4 stars not 3 stars. Sorry for this. It was a nice place to meet up with old friends, we ordered two set of fish and chips. The fish was a bit cold, but overall the food is good. The service and atmosphere is great.
