About us

OneFiveSix invites to step back, to an old-fashioned time when you were welcomed through the door and looked after as though you were one of our own. Our interior has been transformed into a warm and friendly atmosphere for all, whether it be a piece of calm to your busy day or a romantic evening with a loved one, we simply want to look after you.

OneFiveSix have longingly, lovingly, with a lot of self-sacrifice chosen our perfect serve Gin & Tonics, a classic Gin cocktail list and a sophisticated wine list. We are continuing our gorgeous cakes and treats, courtesy of our very own GBBO 2017 contestant, while in the evening we are offering cheese and our own in house smoked meat & charcuterie.

Such a lovely restaurant with a great area of the restaurant to hire for private parties and small gatherings. The staff are really friendly and the food is lovely. The outdoor space is great too with a really rustic mixed with modern decor. I would highly recommend as we were here recently for an event booking. I will be back soon socially too for a family meal!

Went with 2 adults and 2 children. We sat in the outside area in the sunshine and the seating area was lovely. The staff were very nice and chatted with our children. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The burgers were perfect and the childrens meals were large. Will go again.

Competent food, but the waits are excruciating. Expect to ask for tap water at least four times. Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream is good; other dishes can be mediocre: tandoori sea bass fails to capture the subtle flavour range of an Indian classic normally twinned with chicken. Nachos with melted cheese and jalapenos look like a comedy kitchen experiment: there are three tiny traces of pepper buried within, and the chips themselves look and taste like shards of bauxite chiselled straight from the rock face at Yosemite. Swordfish, risotto and spinach soup are good. Staff are friendly, apart from those that are sour and terse
