We are a fantastic alternative to the city centre with a wide range of entertainment to suit all tastes with two bars available. We also have two great function rooms available for hire.
Liverpool Naval club or Function Rooms Liverpool has two bars open for the general public and is also available for hire most days as function rooms.
On Saturdays and Sunday Nights we have Club Nights which are also open for the General Public and everyone is welcome. We have full disabled access which is located at the rear of the building near the car park. Why not try our very popular Liverpool Soul Motown nights or Liverpool Tribute nights.
Came here Sunday 17th December, the venue and entertainment is great š. On the website it says the doors open at 6pm, so we got there about 6.20pm, were other people were waiting to go in. Then a member of staff came and told us that the doors open at 7pm, and it said that on a poster inside that states that. Well how were we to know. I asked her if I could just go and sit down, because I'm disabled and can't stand long at all. To which she told us no, and that we had to go and come back, but she was soooooo rude and abrupt I was shocked. So with help and difficulty we had to go the pub and come back. When we got back, I told another lady who was on the desk, which she just brushed it off, and made a joke of it. I wasn't happy at all. I spent the night in there uncomfortable and in pain. I know working in hospitality can be stressful, I know as I have worked in hospitality. And before I was disabled I worked in the NHS, and through the pandemic, now that was very very stressful, but I have never been abrupt or rude, with any customers, colleagues or the patients I looked after.... if that's the case, put the correct opening times on the website so there's no confusion and people know the correct times the doors open.
Fantastic night, love the Navel Club the staff are absolutely amazing and can't do enough for customers, even to the point of making sure we got a taxi home. Thanks again to everyone at the Navel Club for making last night a proper Christmas party night. We met lots of lovely people too. Look forward to our next event

Booked the function room for a funeral reception. I was informed, by Mark, there were no time restrictions with regards to ālast ordersā. We spoke further of the possibilities for provision of catering and the incorporation of music. I duly paid the amount required and continued to make all the necessary arrangements for the forthcoming occasion. On the stated day, 25th August 2023, family, and friends arrived as expected at 1.00 pm. Independent caterers had organised the buffet as requested. Moreover, after the food service, all tables were cleared by members of the funeral party, no Naval Club staff were required to help. Around 7.00 pm, a member of staff approached to ask what time the caters were due to clear the remnants of the buffet. This member of staff stated that she had been informed that ācaterers would be returning at 5.30 pm. In response I told this said member of staff āarrangements had been to clear the area, in accordance with Mark., between 7.00 ā 8.00 pm. Nevertheless, this member of staff indicated āIt should have been cleared already, because weāre calling last orders now.ā According to her, we were not purchasing enough drinks at the bar. Apparently when there appears to be a natural lull in drinking, ālast orders are calledā. One of the guests informed me upon hearing this, that the same course of action was taken at his wedding function. Upon extend discussions with both members of staff, I was informed that funeral functions are only given a five hoursā time limit. When booking Mark gave no such indication. Furthermore, the male member of staff (supposedly senior), produced the order book, which accurately confirmed the start time for 1.00 pm, yet there was no definite closing time listed. It proved a bad enough day having to cope with the funeral of my wife, but due to the insensitive nature of the Liverpool Naval Club staff, we had no option but to take our custom elsewhere. Thus, this grief-stricken gathering, was forced to venture further afield in order to continue their bereavement. I concluded that both members of staff simply wanted to get away early. When I enquired could they provide Markās contact number, I was informed that he was on holiday. This couple showed a distinct lack of respect for my expectations. Such a sorrowful performance by Naval Club staff. Never to be forgotten. John Burns & Family
Lovely venue for a party or special event. There's a small room for hire or a large function room with a stage, dance floor and plenty of seating. The staff are lovely and they also through great themed nights. There's a great big car park with plenty of parking spaces and it's just by the rocket.
