The Blue Bell is a historic village pub. Low ceilings, a roaring fire and stone walls are part of its charm. Six handpulls offer a wide range of well-kept guest beers, including at least one LocAle and real cider.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the bar area. Good honest home-made pub food is available Tuesday to Sunday lunchtimes (booking advisable). Rutland CAMRA Pub of the Year 2013. Rutland CAMRA Pub of the Season Spring 2015.
Lovely pub..friendly staff only downside was that they don't sell hot drinks like the other local pubs we visit.
Nicely done out and cosy with the log burners. Good selection of beer on tap. Nice touch on the bar with free cheese n crackers.
Some friends and I visited for their Christmas quiz and had an amazing evening. The pub is quite big with a central bar which didn't take too long to get served despite how busy it was. Very cosy. Very friendly. Will be going back again and again!
Great pub atmosphere, warm welcome and excellent drinks and price.
Had a lovely home cooked meal and the pub itself is very rustic and dog friendly and the proprietors made a fuss of them.

Under new management the millstone has had a refurbishment and prides itself on good homemade food, good ale and a friendly atmosphere. We recommend booking for our Sunday roast Carvery as it is very popular.
