Great place with friendly helpful locals with good atmosphere. Nice camping/caravan site attached with nice swimming pool and play area for kids. Could have a bit more attention to detail so if you're looking for refinement then this is probably not the place for you but we were quite happy and relaxed there and will go back again at some time.
Nice little campsite, foods a little expensive but of a very good quality. 2 areas that need improvement Large amount of wasps Showers/Tiolets could be cleaned more regularly Camping is good value, bar is reasonably priced and there is often bands on during the weekend. Swimming pool is very nice although gets busy on the weekends.
Not bad for the price but not somewhere i would visit again. The heated pool is a nice touch but thats about it. Pub is run down, campsite is nice enough but the whole toilet/shower situation is the worst ive seen. You need to pay £3.50 deposit for a single card to use the tiolets which can be really annoying when your part of a large family. If one person leaves the site with the card the rest of you have no access. Id understand somewhat if the toilets were well kept and newish but thay are not. I guess the idea is to stop kids using the facilities without a parent. Not ideal for us. Showers were awful. We are a family of 6 and it cost £1 per 5min shower. Ive not come across this before, i thought most places let you shower for free. Again, the showers were poor condition and dirty so not sure what that money goes towards. I also will add the check in process was painful. I was told i could set up anywhere but as soon as i got the tent erected we was asked to move. Worst of all is the location. I couldnt even find a dog walking trail off the site. Looking around it seems we were 30-40mins from a decent beach. I instantly regretted staying here. That all said, im sure this site is ok for some. Just not for us.
Great place. We had a lot of fun Everyone friendly and welcoming Camp site well run Toilets clean. Loved the pub and the live music on Saturday evening was a bonus. Didn't try the food. The pool was great too. This place is great for families and couples.
Amazing place. Family friendly, very welcoming, helpful, affordable. The park is amazing. The swimming pool is great for the children and adults alike. Pub is reasonable prices. Saved a weekend camping ruined by another site. If I could rate higher I certainly would. Will be returning for the odd weekend break
