Love this pub – it's really pretty inside and the roast dinners are so good! The only thing is that the tables are really close together so it can be difficult to get in and out.

Went on a Saturday night for drinks and dinner. Atmosphere in the bar area is really cosy and lots of friendly interaction from staff. Wine is great ‘French Sauvignon’ and so reasonable priced for area. Millie and John was serving at the bar and tables and were great and very attentive. Food was delicious and not at all rushed between courses. And the brownie was delicious. Thoroughly recommend
Had high hopes, so went for a quick lunch to check out. Quite disappointing. Very quiet so just one member of staff serving at bar and tables. Service quick but not particularly warm. Had fish and chips, overcooked fish, so dry and some of the chips were undercooked. Minted peas were good. Think will try the Sunday lunch which gets good reviews incase this was a one-off. But not great first visit
Great little cafe and general store in the heart of this beautiful village. Great service, great coffee. Alternative milks offered. Sat outside with the dogs and enjoyed watching village live pass by.
