Well what a find in what could be described as the middle of nowhere. We went there for a delayed birthday party. The menu puts many other places to shame. So much choice and the best dessert menu I've seen for ages. Food is clearly freshly prepared as takes some time to come to the table, but totally acceptable.
20/01/2024 Excellent! 40th birthday dinner for 12, real home cooked food, lovely setting and pleasant staff. We will be returning in the near future. Please give it a try and support this local pub ensuring its remains open for all our pleasure!
Fabulous meal before Christmas, great choice & size of portions. So good we went back again a week later.

Had a lovely meal here with friends, great menu to choose from, I had the curry which was very tasty. Beer was nice too. Not really a drinking pub, mainly food. Not sure why the name changed I hope it wasn't because of political correctness?
