What a great little find. It was very busy but it was a Sunday afternoon. I'd recommend booking. Food came out quickly and was lovely. Reasonably priced. Also had some great looking vegan options. Will go again if in the area
The best meal I've have had in ages. Popped in for lunch after a walk around Tittesworth reservoir. Got seated and served quickly. All staff helpful and friendly. We had the sirloin and venison steaks both were cooked to perfection, hot, tasty and good portion sizes. We will definitely be back as everything that came out the kitchen looked yummy and I would recommend to anyone to try.
A charming, cosy village pub with a great atmosphere. The home cooked food was outstanding, and considering how busy it was, came out in quick time. Plenty of staff on who were all really friendly and attentive. What a truly fantastic place!
Expensive but worth every penny. Exceptional meat that is cooked to perfection. An idyllic location and a wonderful old pub / restaurant. Pleasant and attentive staff. A hidden gem between Leek and Buxton. Worth seeking out.
Stayed not too far away & we booked a room for lunch as there were 25 of us. Firstly this place accommodated 25 plus 3 small dogs. The food here was such a high standard. The mushrooms for starter was delicious & my main I had chicken. No one complained about their meal. The staff were friendly & kept an eye on our group. Well done chefs & staff. Would recommend 100%
