Nice quiet pub, the staff are friendly and so are the regulars. It's got a pool table, a dart board and a couple of slot machines. They have live sport on, mostly rugby. The best feature is the beer garden out front, yes it's on a main road, but it's a sun trap and a must go when it's sunny for a nice quiet pint in the sun βππΊ 10/10 it would be 11/10 if they did cooked food, but suppose crisp and nuts will have to do π they sell ecigs tooπ
Great local pub, not a lot of parking though so plan ahead, good prices, good staff, good atmosphere
New. Mine host Lorraine and her daughter seem to run a well kept hostelry.special thanks DJ karaoke kid for a pleasant Friday evening Thanks
Old style boozer. Decent choice of beer. Lovely staff and nice decent honest punters frequenting the place. Only downside that despite being well and truly in Wigan tfe landlady has an awful taste in clothing and insists on wearing a Billinge Rovers (St Helens) top on Derby day. Anyway it was a good day to have a beer in there after tasting the sweet taste of victory.
Ok little boozer, old fashioned, which is what i like from a pub. Little moody upon entrance, if you're not a regular, you'll probably get stared down. Was rather busy when we went as it's rather small. Doubtful, you'll see me in here again.
