A community sports facility located in the idyllic Lancashire village of Croston where we aim to provide the best local sporting facilities.
Our Clubhouse boasts a members bar, function room and thriving social events calendar all run by a volunteer committee. We are a members organisation with all profits being invested into the upkeep and improvements to our club for the benefit of the community. We are also proud of our commitment to the junior sport sections which continue to grow.
Our doors are always open to members and non members and we encourage a warm friendly family environment for all the community to enjoy.
Cricket has always been a focal point in the village of Croston dating back to the 1870’s and has made its home within our facility since that time.
On 8th August 1960 Croston Sports Club was officially formed when two football teams Croston Celtic and Croston Rangers joined together with Croston cricket team to form one club for the community. The current clubhouse was purchased in 1976 and has been recently refurbished.

Lovely atmosphere very pleasant place and the food is immense been a few times now and never been disappointed with the food the brisket dirty fries are to die for definitely recommend we went for Sunday lunch too and it was beautiful overall 10 out of 10
A super place. The manager (Lisa) and staff are absolutely brilliant and will do all they can to help. See you at the beer festival at Easter and no doubt before!
Visited today for first time to watch a cricket match. Lovely pitch, food and drink was excellent and staff were very efficient and helpful. Lovely weather and a good result - ideal day. Thanks to Croston Sports club for your hospitality,
Nice football pitch 👏 We played there 2 weeks ago, and the pitch wasn't that bad The good part is winning the game and scoring two goals 🙌 👌
Attended my sons gender reveal here last weekend. Lovely function room with bar, spacious seating and dance floor if needed. Access to outside patio and seating area overlooking cricket pitch. helpful staff. Ample outside parking, which can become difficult if a cricket match is playing at the same time. The venue allows outside catering and decorations to your own choice. Room was booked for a 4 hour slot and it is worth being mindful that the last hour was spent cleaning the room ready for the next party. However I have not deducted a star for this as overall this is a good venue.
