The Koukash is attached to the Hilton hotel so I decided to give it a try. It was terribly quiet on the date I stayed with awful pop music playing. I can't say that any of the staff were that attentive or knowledgeable about the food or wine. The wooden table I sat at was tacky to the touch, so much so I chose another table, but they were all like that, it was unpleasant. I ordered the white whine garlic linguini, which I didn't enjoy, it came out nuclear hot, almost like it had been microwaved, was relativley bland and defiantly not worth the price (especially if it had been microwaved) All in, I wouldn't recommend this place to eat.

If it’s raining heavily and you stay at the hotel, this place is acceptable. They were out of vegetables (!) and draft beer but didn’t mention this because they didn’t know until we had already ordered. Uninspired food. Arrancini were doughy and soft, salad soggy, the highlight was the fries.

This must be one of the most depressing restaurants I've ever been to and very surprising for Hilton to be associated with something this bad. Risotto was wet and boring. The only reason for not giving 1 star was that the two guys serving were great. I felt sorry for them having to work in such a joyless environment. Breakfast was poor too.

I recently spent the night in Liverpool at @double so popped down into the Turkish restaurant next door for a bite to eat Food/drink⭐️⭐️⭐️ Firstly let's start with the cocktails, we ordered both on and off the menu and all the cocktails were prepared perfectly. The whiskey sours was gorgeous but I had to laugh that it took them 3 attempts to separate an egg white from the yolk! The food was good but not amazing to be honest. We had the mixed mezze and calamari to start and I just felt the calamari was a bit dull and lacking flavour whilst the mezze was presented nicely the Hummus was a bit too tangy and the pitta dry AF, like I know it's bread but this was borderline stale. When mains came and my chicken skewers arrived I have to say I was excited to dive in. I asked for a bit of ketchup for the chips and recieved approximately 10ml in a small bowl, after a few minutes I asked for a little more ketchup and was presented a tatty looking plastic bottle of sauce.... classy! Both the starters and mains were perfectly fine and I wouldn't say I was unhappy with either but I kind of expected something better. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff were super friendly all evening and were always happy to help without being constantly present watching us eat. Overall⭐️⭐️⭐️(⭐️) I am giving this 3.5 stars. There is some finessing needed around some of the food but ultimately this was a really nice meal with some well prepared cocktails. Not bad for a restaurant linked to the hotel.

Stayed at the Double Tree attached - went in at around 8pm. Not good, zero atmosphere in an evening (not even any quiet music playing). Owner is plastered on every picture on every wall which is a bit weird. Also, strange metal tables which made you feel like you were sat in a prison canteen. Went for breakfast the next morning included in HiltonHonors, the only thing edible was the bacon. The rest was luke warm and poor quality ingredients, not the usual Hilton produce. Even the coffee cups had grime/hairs inside them...all in all very strange experience and you can go to much nicer places on the roads just off here.
