Large grassy area for rugby/football/recreational use. Went to watch my grandson play sport. Good for dog walking too.
Fence and gated enclosed play area, which is clean and tidy for children to safely play. With seating for adults, floor alphabet, hopscotch, dragon and target number games.
Went to watch a rugby league match has a neutral, very nice sports club clean good food and drinks. If you live near the ground great for rugby league, cricket and football for all ages..
The driveway to the Welfare has recently had two very aggressive speed controls put in. These are knocking the gell out of my car even at very low speed. I understand they were put in place because children run around the area and could have been hit by drivers speeding down the driveway. Signs on the driveway warning of children playing. Also inside children must be supervised and not allowed to play in carpark or on driveway should have been tried first. Also chicane speed calming is just as effective as ramps but don't wreck cars using the drive.
