Nestling in the heart of the picturesque village of Bawburgh, The Kings Head is a 17 th Century Freehouse pub, restaurant & Inn committed to upholding the fine living philosophy of it’s namesake – sportsman & bon viveur King Edward VII. He invested in “The Edwardian era with a reputation for delicious if somewhat upholstered pleasures” and we aim to continue this philosophy.

A delightful village pub/restaurant with a lovely warm atmosphere. Staff were polite and efficient. We pre ordered the 2 course xmas menu, turkey roast and game pie followed by baileys cheesecake and sticky toffee pud. Couldn't fault the quality of food and service. Will certainly visit again!
Went for a Christmas meal with friends 8 Dec. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. We weren't rushed at all and left very very full. Excellent value for money.
Superb pub and one of a kind. Exceptional food with locally sourced produce cooked to a high standard with the added ‘wow factor’ so many pubs fail to achieve. Been twice over the past month and both times didn’t disappoint! Had the pie of the day on both occasions and would highly recommend :)
Well cooked, well presented and well looked after. Just outside Norwich which is ideally located to the city. The Carpaccio was one of the best I have ever had and the Venison pie was full to the brim with filling (rare these days) surrounded by a fantastic buttery shortcrust case. Chocolate Fondant was well balanced and not too rich. Really couldn’t fault it. Great service, very friendly staff with some nice craft beers on draft.
