Amazing selection of Beers & Ales that change frequently, always great advice from the bar staff. nice surroundings, always our go to venue after a good curry!

Love the character of this pub. Stained glass windows, period fireplace, low beams (yes I cracked my head as I left 🤕: I'd only had 2 pints as well 😅). Had a very tasty Daymer Bay and then a refreshingly mild Mosaic IPA. Music wasn't really to my taste (blues rock), but I am a control freak when it comes to music 😉 Award winning for a reason, do visit! 👊

Visited for a few beers with friends. The beer choice is great (best in Wantage). My choice (BBN No. 5) was really nice. Good atmosphere and service. It is definitely my favourite pub to visit in Wantage for a drink.

There is a huge garden outside with plenty of tables and umbrellas. I never realised it had so much space. From the front, it looks much smaller. Friendly staff Great selection of drinks Nice atmosphere Shelf with board games to borrow Parking is in a local car park or if lucky in a bay near by.
