It's a beautiful pub but needs an injection of energy. Lovely staff but for some reason not attracting enough customers. A change in ownership may change this. The entrance via the back door/loos doesn't help. Garden is lovely but needs to feel more luxurious. TLC would make this place fabulous!
Would highly recommend this pub. Visited on Saturday night and tried the Surf 'n'Turf special; it was incredible! Both the steak and calamari was tender and perfectly cooked. Food is really reasonable considering the quality and the service was great. ☺
Just went for drinks, but the service was good and the pub has lots of character. You have to go round the back to the entrance which is a little quirky.
Fantastic evening at The Kings Arms.... We all had an amazing experience here tonight.. Being vegetarian I found my food 5 *rating. I had vegetarian Lasagne & Honey comb cheesecake. My husband had Halloumi & chips. We both came away saying what a lovely place. Very reasonable priced. All 6 of us will be going there again. I'd rather go there than Stratford upon avon.
Probably the best Sunday roast we've had, apart from at home, in a long time. Tender lamb, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud and lots of vegetables served separately followed by a delicious honeycomb cheesecake. Friendly staff in an lovely old pub. We'll be back soon
