Curry theme night in January.The food was brilliant, really tasty and huge quantities.
Amazing location, beautiful views and journey to this pub situated in lovely village. Warm welcome, fresh cooked food , nothing just warmed up...and great atmosphere, open fires etc. cosy in winter, stunning in summer out in garden.
Highly recommend this fantastic village pub. Had the sharing steak platter .... Wow really enjoyed. One of our party had the Hunter's chicken, also delicious.
Just excellent! With the landlord Richard in charge for 20 years it’s no wonder he has the right formula for a successful pub business. Good food, great service,friendly locals and atmosphere. We stayed a couple of nights in our Motorhome on their CL site next to the pub garden. Loved it.
Our 2 families with kids walked in just after the kitchen has closed and the kids were playing by the stream at the back of the pub when the landlord came over to us with a big plate of cakes for all of us. This was such a kind gesture and completey took us by surprise. The kids were so happy to see all those cakes! Wonderful. Thank you so much we loved being there and felt so welcomed.
