About us

The Kew Gardens Hotel is situated in the heart of Kew Village West London, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life but with a superb location for travel in and out of the city. We recently underwent an extensive renovation of the 20 boutique bedrooms rooms, ground floor gastro pub and restaurant, and private dining/ function mezzanine, giving you the most comfortable and pleasurable experience possible.

We are only 10 minutes walk from the Historic Royal Botanic Gardens and The National Archives, and a quick tube ride to Richmond upon Thames with all of its shopping, restaurants and riverside walks. A perfect escape from the hectic day to day life of the city of London, or leisurely weekend break.

The hotel also benefits from being closely located to many business parks such as Gunnersbury, Chiswick, Brentford and Richmond.

We are also only a 10min drive (or easy train ride) to Twickenham Stadium and have easy access to many shopping facilities at Kew retail park and Westfield in White City.

Had a lovely long lunch here prior to visiting the lights at Kew. Hadn't been before but booked a table and asked for a 'cosy corner' in the bar. Staff had indeed got us a cosy corner in the bar however suggested a much nicer cosy corner in the restaurant, which was perfect. A great level of service from all the staff. great food, good wines and excellent recommendations as well as allowing us to try the wine. Genuinely hospitality at its finest and not only we will be back but i have already been recommending it to people. If I lived closer, it would certainly become my local.

Stayed her for one night and got to enjoy the roast, the rooms and the breakfast. Couldn’t fault any of it and will be back very soon. Special mention to Nick who couldn’t have been more accommodating!

It's a bit shabby. But, great service and staff. Comfortable clean rooms/bed and a great location for Kew Gardens and the railway station. We will stay again if we visit this area again.

We spent 3 nights in a "Superior Double" room that was nicely appointed, quiet and comfortable. The "double" bed is the size of a queen in the U.S.A. Service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu offers a nice variety and both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good. This hotel is a short walk from Kew Gardens and from the Kew Tube station which makes for easy transfers to London. The hotel has WiFi, but if you really need it in your room or if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to mention this in any booking request.

We came here for the wake after a funeral and I have to say the buffet food that was provided was nothing short of delicious. The sandwiches were so tasty and they were the least exciting thing. Everything had an Asian twist of sorts. Falafel and goats cheese balls were exceptional. The star of the show was similar to a scotch egg but not quite. I am still have daydreams about those slices of egg in their wonderful coating. The service was seamless and very friendly.
