We spent New year's Eve here and had a marvellous time. I tried one of the local ciders as recommended by Oliver and it was perfect so several more followed! We were made very welcome and had a really good night. We'll definitely return next time we are in Ramsgate.
Very pleasant town centre micropub with outside seating at the back in summer. Usually at least 4 ales from varying independent breweries. Snacks are sometimes available. Very popular meat raffle on Sunday afternoon. There is also a weekly bonus ball draw with numbers drawn randomly from a bag
Always a good experience if you want good beer at affordable prices and a conversation. Avoid if you want piped music snd slot machines. The zero to food is simply that they might only have some simple quick fare or, as in our last visit, someone had taken in some fish and chips (and shared around excess chips). We always leave cheerful even if they do close rather early.
Excellent beer from small local breweries tapped from the cask. Unfortunately a few too many super weak (sub 4%) beers. They did have some stronger stouts (4.8, 6.4) on tap but nothing resembling a New England IPA.
Best pub in the SE and the cheapest fine selection of real ales on gravity feed from various parts of the country. Jaipur at an amazing price cheaper than my northern local. Great one roomed pub for conversation just off the prom opposite Wilko.
