Had a great experience at The George, Hayes this week. Our food was amazing and great value for money - compliments quite literally to the chefs/Kitchen there! Had really good attentive service from our waitress - Liv. Will be back very soon!!
We were a table of 14 and we went for the extra special festive menu. The food was amazing, as was the service. Such friendly staff and great communication throughout my booking process. Would definitely recommend the George.
Ordered pork belly with scallops. Scallops were so oversalted that drowning them in the sauce didnt help. There was no pork either, only fat. Really disappiintong dish. Maybe other options on the menu are better.
Booked a table after a trip to London as we preferred to eat locally . Service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Food again excellent despite our firs choice of Dover sole was sold out but the bass was very good as an alternative. Overall a great experience as always and I would not hesitate to recommend The George to anyone.
Lovely lunch today in the restaurant. Excellent fish and chips and delicious desserts . The restaurant and bar area is kept so nice and clean by the very helpful staff. A special thanks to Vinnie our lovely waiter.
