Had our club Christmas lunch here. Great location, easy access from M25. Good lunch, quality food and exceptional value. Very friendly and fast service.
Great pub, best in the area by far. Was working in Bexley for the week & we made it our local. Kelly is a great landlady & the staff are all lovely. 1 of the girls got me onto Jaffa Cake gin & I'm addicted. Thai foods amazing. Proper boozer with some great characters. Can't wait to be working down here again. Thanks Kelly.
Booked twin room, we're given "small double", not good for 2 over 6 footers! Shower door broken in single room, communal toilet dirty, no soap or towel communal bathroom. Kettle doesn't fit under tap🤣 Otherwise, lovely quaint pub, couldn't help the heat wave weather, so room stifling, good staff Thanks for your reply. It was room 3 that had broken shower door, didn't report at the time as left before staff around in the morning. Thanks for the kettle advice but 2 small bottles of water aren't enough for our 4 cups of tea/coffee as well as to drink during the night! We bumped into a member of your kitchen staff late evening and he told us the single (dirty) communal loo was not for guests to use, so we didn't 😅 As rather large tall people I'll check bed situations more carefully in future😅
Went for a birthday meal with friends. Initially there was a mix up over tables; two of us were shown to a table on one side of the pub, whilst the rest of our party was sitting on the other side! The food was plentiful and very good in quality, quantity and price. I would have preferred proper chairs as perching on a stool for a couple of hours was not comfortable. Shame, as the rest of the experience was fine. The pub itself was far too crowded and noisy for our liking, so we finished the night at a nearby hostelry with plenty of seating and a live singer.
Brilliant traditional pub run by wonderful kelly and her team. Ingenious Kelly introduced Thai food ( and it’s kick arse) what a genius move from an already great pub. I get in in when ever I can. Reasonable pint prices and great vibe. Keep going Kelly, proper pub and grub. I never stayed just visiting on way home from work, so I cannot comment on rooms etc. Pub is 5 star so is Thai food
