Popped in for a drink, staff were very welcoming. We were provided with an amazing bar snack of haggis roll and cheese and onion pastry, both of which were delicious. Hotel looks very nice and comfortable and lovely views of the river to sit and relax beside. A nice little suprise on us passing through and would highly recommend it to anyone coming through the area.
This is a wee gem of a hotel , with a stylish cosy snug bar with a good selection of beers and spirits, comfortable seats, and a real fire .the rooms are very spacious, modern up to date with all you need for your stay , decorated in good taste and meticulously clean .The dining room area is well situated with large windows that give pleasant views across the river and countryside. The cuisine here is first class with a good menu for all tastes ,locally sourced high-quality produce if you get the chance try the eight course tasting dishes they are first class and will definitely impress on that special night ,I found all the staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them always keen to serve with a smile ,well and truly worth a visit
Outstanding hidden gem. Stayed for 2 nights. Room very clean and everything you needed was provided Food of very high standard, not typical pub grub Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Would definitely go back. Excellent value for money too
Fabulous overnight stay at this hotel. Rooms are beautifully decorated with gorgeous finishing touches. Chris’s (Chef) food is amazing. Evening meal was delicious with tasty finishing touches. Home made haggis and black pudding for Full Scottish Breakfast 😋 Overall lovely experience with attentive staff seeing to our every need. We will defo be back 🙌 Well done Chris, Beth and your staff. 5 ⭐️ for sure
The Kenmuir Arms offers a stunning range of high quality, locally sourced food, cooked and served beautifully. Their homemade haggis is delicious. The venison was amazing, served with complimentary fruits and flavours. The range of creativity is impressive and each creation is a joy to look at, smell and taste. Service is a joy and I cannot rate the Kenmuir highly enough. Well worth a visit and definitely worth booking for a special occasion. We are very grateful to Chris and the team for their care and attention to detail. We are very lucky to have such a gem of a place so close by!
