If you're looking for a cool spot without the drunk, rough crowd in Chesterfield, visit the Junction Bar. They've got amazing staff who serve the best drinks. Also the opening time is perfect, they close at 1am ish... there's variety of drinks cocktails and music, if you like to dance. Also I loved the outdoor sitting, well lit and cosy. No need to struggle for seats, there's enough space for everyone. Also, they've got security, best!

Excellent food at ,great prices! And they love dogs....as soon as we sat at the table they brought a blanket for Connie (our dog) and a doggy biscuit, The menu wasn't huge, HOORAH,but the choices were very good. It's our favourite place to eat in Chesterfield now!!!

We tried this place for the first time today, Chloe served us and straight away we felt calm and relaxed with her pleasant manner and the rustic/modern atmosphere. The food also surpassed expections, the loaded fries was the best we ever tasted and all the ingredients are fresh, it was a party for our tastebuds!!!! We met one of the lovely ladies in the kitchen when we tried finding the disabled toilet for a personal issue where me and my partner needed to be in there together, the lady that worked in the kitchen was extremely helpful and friendly and related to our situation. Overall, amazing food, and amazing friendly staff 💙

The junction is an interesting place. Essentially it's a throwback to the time when we used to go out and meet people in 'wine bars'. If you reading this and thinking what's a wine bar? Well, it was when people went out to a place that wasn't a pub but it wasn't a club either. You got a drink and you would talk, eye up the crowd. People watch, maybe dress up a little, maybe even dance a little. Smooch, talk, discuss, and exchange numbers before going on somewhere else. It's a place where the music is just loud enough to have to talk over. And the music type was jazz funk played by a DJ. The most interesting thing about the Junction is it somehow blends the everyday function of a pub which it is not and a wine bar/club and restaurant all under the same roof at the same time. And it does it rather well. The seating inside and outside are well-represented with varying levels of comfort depending on the area you choose to sit, eat, drink, or dine in. The restrooms have hand cream to pamper your paws with and the drinks and cocktails are excellent. The clientele ranges from mid 20's to late 50's. The dress code is casually smart or smart. The bar service is rapid. This review was based on an evening scenario. However, the Junction morphs into a nice eating establishment in the day with its large street view windows and aqua-colored comfy sofas beckoning you to take a load off and chill 😎

This visit was Saturday afternoon, it was busy inside but lots of seats n tables outside the back yard under cover next to a walled steam?, barstaff put a ram down so I could enter the bar all staff were helpful n friendly lots of drinks n food plus cakes, for me there was a proper disabled toilet 🚻 down stairs a key from the bar staff, all in all it was well worth the visit.
