Came for Sunday roast recently with my small kids and it was absolutely delicious. There was also a great kids menu that they loved! The toys are such a good idea for parents wanting to enjoy five mins of peace! We’ll definitely be coming back
Food, worst Sunday roast I ever had! Raw potatoes, vegetable mush, gravy with scum on top yuk, meat tiny amount with triple amounts of fat attached! How can you fail so badly and take £16.50 off someone?! Not to mention where did you get that tall, blonde ish barman from, deadpan misery himself! I like children and love dogs but this is just not a relaxing mix for a Sunday lunch. Avoid this place like the plague!
Cute little pub out of the way doing Sunday roasts and with wheelchair access. Has board games near the door. Dog friendly. Staff are down to earth and helpful and compliant with pretty much anything. It was nice to get a normal roast dinner. See photos. So there's a ramp by the back door. The landlord is laidback. The pub is quiet enough for autistic people to easily use though there appears to be a dukebox on the other side with poor acoustics, the pub is L shaped so it shouldn't matter.
The back gardens space was lovely and felt not busy even on friday evening which was nice! The kitchen is still closed so cannot rate the food from the pub but there was an amazing japanese van so that deserves a 5 but since its not affiliated to the pub it is 3 for now. The service was ok but looked like they needed more people in service since there were only two of them. Drinks stocks also looked quite low and wish there was a menu for drinks since that was missing. The pims half pint was £7.5 which was a bit steep and wish they checked if i wanted single of double shot since buying pims outside could coat me £15 per bottle. Overall it was lovely and felt relaxing environment but I think there is room for improvement.
Friends and I really November's Rocksteady roast session. The food by Marinades catering was absolutely delicious together with excellent service. The music was predictably fantastic too, we thoroughly enjoyed the nostalgic spins of DJ Skylarkin a truly wonderful entertainer. Unfortunately I wasn't that impressed with the white wine I had on this particular visit. However management did make efforts to amend the problem.
