Friendly atmosphere and staff .. Welcoming Landlord and Landlady .. Great full english breakfast at the weekend with a selection of meals through out the week including a great Sunday dinner.. Upcoming Venue for some top class bands and Music Festivals raising money for When you wish upon a star charity ☺

Just a quick thankyou from my frinds Olwen and Keith Rodgers for the excellent buffet you provided for Olwens mum,Muriels funeral. The food was great and a lovely selection and very well presentation. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone wanting catering. If the food is as good in the pub then will be using that as well.

A great, traditional, drinkers pub... How they used to be... Nice pint... Home cooked food.. Friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere... If only there were more like this. Rather than the bland, chain pub/restaurants that have choked the land..

Still limited to what can be achieved in an estate pub but for anyone who's ever been in before it's a huge improvement! First impressions were how clean it seems compared to old. Even the toilets that have remained the same since time began have had a refurbishment. It's now a decent pub and it's been a long time since that could be said. Well done landlord!

We are new to the area and went in as we saw it was under new management, the new owners are really friendly went out of the way to make you feel welcome. The staff helpful and attentative, cant wait for them to start serving food. Sounds like the new owner as got big plans for the place he is talking about tribute bands, themed nights overall had a great time and we will be back.
