Hello, we are the Horseshoe. The birthplace of Camden Town Brewery and a well-loved Hampstead local for over a decade, we’re known for our good, simple food, wine and beer and legendary Sunday roasts.
A while back, our boss Jasper started brewing below the pub, with the aim of making a few beers to serve upstairs. In 2010, the operation outgrew our basement and moved down the road to become Camden Town Brewery. You can always find the full range of Camden beers here at the Horseshoe, as well as guest beers from our friends. If beer’s not your thing we've got wine + spirits too.
Our menu uses fresh, seasonal produce from carefully selected suppliers. Monday to Friday you'll find pub favourites and daily specials, brunch on Saturdays until 4pm and our Sunday roast is served from Midday until it sells out, so it's always good to book a table.
Nice atmosphere and a very cool bar, in this cocktail centric pub. They got a good selection of draft beers too. We came one time for drinks and another for a roast. It took quite some time to get the waiters’ attention and they weren’t the nicest, but ok. The place feels newly renovated and food was quite good. Sirloin roast was a bit chewy, but good. Disappointing Yorkshire pudding that felt like it was store bought of how dry it was. Rest of the menu looks more inspiring, but didn’t have a chance to try. Might come back in the future and edit this in case it changes for the better.
Absolutely great Pub with such lovely food. Staff made us feel so welcome. Great specials offered but had to go fish & chips which was excellent.
This is a fantastic pub located in the heart of Hampstead Village. Having visited many times over the years I have always been happy with the service and quality. Great drinks on offer from pints to cocktails and wine. The food I have seen looks superb too and often heart compliments. Always great service from the staff and very attentive. Wow, what a great place. The staff in here are amazing, fun and professional. The cocktails were made really well, tasted great and the finishing touches helped make the whole drink look photo worthy. Although it was busy the young lady and gentleman behind the bar still made time to talk. This was my first visit as I am from up north, but I will definitely be back.
Had a great lunch at the Horseshoe Hampstead, great dishes and very tasty. It is a classic traditional English pub very stylish. The staff were very friendly and I loved the decor, the colour of their gallery wall was so beautiful I took lots of photos for inspirations. The plates were also very large and even sharing it was a lot of it. Great experience.
