Set in four and a half acres of grounds, our two fishing lakes, which we have stocked with carp, are now open to the public for fishing! Tench and carp have been caught so far - let us know what you catch!.
First time I visited was last Saturday lunchtime and even tho it was very busy with most tables full, the service was so quick, drinks and food came so quickly via ordering on the app. The food was very nice and great price for the kids meal as my little one is only 1.5 who just snacks at food, visited again today as we loved the food. The staff are very polite and the food was amazing. recommend the tutor tower burger 👌
Went for the first time today after a recommendation. The food was amazing. Had the gammon which truly was the best I have ever eaten and I have had gammon in lots of places. Nicely set out. Food was served very quickly. Staff were attentive and very polite. Also has a great child's play area! Highly recommend to anyone.
I haven’t been to the honey bee for few years but on my return I realised why the food has gone down hill drastically it used to be really good for food but now just disappointing first my pint was just rank flat and had the taste of dirty pipes then my food I had the king Henry steak cooked medium there was just no love on my plate the steak was very stringy and chewy they reaaly need to use butter and garlic to cook there steak to add the flavour it was lacking and the chips was very poor to over cooked all in all I’d rate this place a 2 out of 10 I probably would not ever return either such a shame as I used to come here a lot when it used to be good about 10 years ago
Went for a spontaneous drink, ended up having dinner, food was lovely. " Best steaknibhave had in many years" husband & daughter said. Will be going again soon. 😊
Overall a very good experience, we have been many times (Derby branch is perhaps the worst), unfortunately the prices have gone up considerably and the famous Murphy T bone wasn't available at the time of visit. The kids meal portion size was excellent but the burger was a bit dry.
