Such a fun place! We just about managed to see a love band downstairs which was a treat! Drinks are lovely and Gareth who served us was a total sweetheart x Shout out to very nice security guard at the doors as well (tall bloke w/ a ponytail)!
Good student bar - there's a big selection of beers and unique cocktails and lots of things to do. There are pool tables, there's live music and a big outdoor area. They were also selling freshly made pizzas which were cooked on site. We went on a Friday night and watched the live music - perfect if you like heavy rock!
Awesome Venu, great pub! Absolutely loved the beer garden! So much space! On first inspection this pub looks like a small intimate place to get a good drink. However when you actually explore the building it's massive! Amazing music, fantastic vibes and brilliant drinks! Definitely recommend a visit.
Quirky local legend of a pub with massive beer garden, basement stage room & tasteful medical / fantasy theming plus a related extensive cocktail menu. They also even brew their own Mead
Really nice pub, very cheap drinks and good size for your money. Good vibes, however slightly disappointed it has nothing to do with the lord of the rings anymore. A ton of dungeons and dragons related drinks instead now. If you're not a student you might feel a bit out of place as I did! Being older has its downsides!
