About us

In winter, the Vine’s a cosy retreat with its roaring fire and in summer the garden’s the perfect place to soak up the rays while enjoying our hand-crafted local real ales and fine wines (and while your young climbers amuse themselves in our wide open spaces!).

Any time of year, though, we’re sure you’ll enjoy our famous spectacular Sunday Carvery!

The atmosphere is lively and full of locals, with their family. The staff do seem busy and can come across a little dismissive. The food was OK, but I wouldn't be making a repeat visit. This is somewhere I would go to have some drinks with friends, not a meal.

When you walk in to a table especially for dogs this place is always getting 5* from me!! Friendly staff, large inside. Tables outside both under cover and in the sun, large grass area too for kids to play.

We visited the Vine on a Saturday afternoon. May I say the staff was very friendly and accommodating for children. Plenty of colouring and pictures. Menu had plenty of options. Fairly priced. Kids loved there food. Well worth a visit ☺️ 👌

I have been here 4 times and every single time I’ve been here I have not been disappointed the food is amazing, and the staff are friendly and polite. This is my families regular go to go to restaurant. I highly recommend it. The food is very affordable and tasty and also served at a timely manner. See you very soon. THE VINE. :)

Great spot! Lovely to sit outside, lots of grass and a play structure for kids. Food was good and served quickly. I can't comment on the inside as I didn't go in myself. You order by scanning a QR code on the table into an app that you need to download first. There is wifi for this. However you have to go in to get your own cutlery and napkins etc. The waiters will only bring the food to the table that's it. Would definitely go back to try more!
