Good value with a warm welcome in the heart of Kingsbridge. A couple of real ales are normally available from mainly local breweries. There are homemade bar snacks on offer and basket meals on Friday nights and lunchtimes during the summer. Live music events are held throughout the year. Check their Facebook page for details.
Went to see Chris Banderas on Sunday evening, what a great place to go, great atmosphere and well accepted by the locals, and the landlady and other staff were exceptional, would highly recommend, and I'm sure we will visit again very soon
We came here regularly in the 70's, then it was absolutely fabulous - a great manager and a Lady ran the pub (I think the names were Eric and Maz) and very friendly staff. Came back now for the first time since then - loud, unfriendly and dirty - just terrible. Just a shame, a shame for such a great location.
Used to be a great place to drink when the old owner/manager had it. It's gone to pot since the new people took over.
Came in for a quiet pint and a bag of nuts after work. Only 2 customers in (regulars). Barmaid was moaning and effing and jeffing like a Squaddie to one of them. Didn't put me off, a proper boozer.
Great friendly pub with a nice pool table. Service is very good. I very much like going to this bar and chatting with different people. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do
