Too expensive for soft drinks and no food supplied for skittles teams.
Great little pub, as in 'proper' pub. Great lay-out, lovely garden for adults and kids alike, and to top it off a decent pint of Guinness. All in all you get a lot of pub with very low beer prices. My only downside to the whole experience is I live 170 miles away and its not my local.

The bar staff were very welcoming. We were served by a lovely lady in the lounge which had lovely comfortable looking seating. As it was such a lovely afternoon we decided to sit out in the garden. I was really surprised how big it was. The garden was fabulous. The garden was surrounded by lovely trees. The lawn was kept really well. We attended a Christening of the Landlady's youngest child. There were a lot of us there and there was plenty of seating to accommodate us all. I will certainly be visiting again in the future.
well broke down and as pub was closed a friend parked his car on the car park .. bad choice as when came back to the car it was blocked in before I had chance to oppologise as I realised itvwas in a staff parking spot (bear in mind pub was closed) I was met with what I can only describe as the incredible hulks wife not only was the language that blue chubby brown would of winced I was threatened with violence ..if it wasn't so bloody comical it would of been rather intimidating ..I do believe some local 6 fingered webbed toed locals came down to make it more intimidating as her (husband) fella poor bloke I bet he gets it in the head .. watched on ..eventually the steroids obviously wore of and she let us go ... cant say how the food or beer was but I can only imagine it's a sour as the landlady . in finishing great pub if you like the shameless experience but if you don't id avoid and try Wetherspoons 😂😂
